Best Vacation Beaches in Bradenton FL

Beaches in Bradenton FL are hidden gems nestled on the stunning Gulf Coast. With its sparkling waters, golden sands, and warm sunshine, breathtaking beaches in Bradenton FL are perfect for those seeking a memorable vacation.

My own family recently had the opportunity to visit this beautiful area, and we instantly fell in love with its natural beauty and serene atmosphere.

My family and I are snowbirds that plan to return to beaches in Bradenton FL year after year! We are excited to share our wonderful experiences there.

The sand on these best Florida beaches surprised us with lots of shells, sea sponges, and crabs. We also spotted not only dolphins but manatees as well!

You will not be disappointed in visiting these beaches in Bradenton FL!

The Mesmerizing Anna Maria

One of the most enchanting beach destinations near Bradenton is Anna Maria (Bean Point Beach) on Anna Maria Island.

With its pristine shores and turquoise waters, this island is a true paradise for families.

The laid-back atmosphere, combined with the absence of high-rise buildings, creates a sense of tranquility that is ideal for a relaxing day at the beach.

We spent hours building sandcastles, collecting seashells, and splashing in the gentle waves. The island also offers convenient amenities such as picnic areas and restrooms, ensuring a comfortable experience for families with young children.

Family Friendly Holmes Beach

Since we have little kids, Holmes Beach was a perfect spot for us to spend the day. There is a large parking lot that is free to park in. That was helpful when I knew my kids would not last the whole day. The lot does fill up quickly, so get there early!

There is also a fun little restaurant right on the parking lot where you can grab a bite to eat before heading out to soak in the sun.

Simple Cortez Beach

Just south of Homes beach is Cortez Beach. People love to go there to relax in the white sand and swim in the clear waters.

There are no facilities at this beach and parking can be hard to come by. This pristine beach is a peaceful and natural spot where you can see many different animals as well. Cortez Beach is a place that everyone will enjoy, especially if you love nature and the beach!

The Lively Coquina Beach

Coquina Beach, located on the southern end of Anna Maria Island, is another stunning destination that we adored. This beach boasts wide stretches of powdery white sand and crystal-clear waters, making it a dreamy spot for sunbathing and swimming.

We were captivated by the breathtaking sunsets that painted the sky in vibrant hues as we strolled along the shore.

Coquina Beach also features playgrounds, shaded picnic areas, and ample parking facilities, making it a convenient choice for families looking for a day of fun in the sun.

The Scenic Bradenton Beach

Bradenton Beach, situated on the southern part of Anna Maria Island, offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and small-town charm.

We enjoyed exploring the quaint shops, waterfront restaurants, and vibrant art galleries that lined the beach.

The pier at Bradenton Beach is a must-visit, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico.

You might find dolphins frolicking in the distance and be amazed by the colorful marine life visible through the clear water.

It is a truly magical experience for the entire family.

The Pristine Longboat Key

destin with kids

A short drive from Bradenton will lead you to Longboat Key, a serene barrier island that offers a blissful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This uncrowded paradise boasts miles of untouched beaches, where we reveled in the peacefulness of nature. We had the opportunity to witness nesting sea turtles during their breeding season, which was a rare and incredible sight.

Longboat Key is the perfect destination for families seeking solitude and a chance to connect with nature in a tranquil setting.
